We’re switching our focus from recovery to growth, with the Sales & Marketing function set to underpin future success. Having undergone wholescale transformation of our front-end processes and tech, we’re now looking for more content firepower.

Role title: Content & Research Writer. 
Location: Philippines (Remote)

Reporting to: Brand & Labs Lead

What you'll do:

The Content & Research Writer role will be crucial in researching, creating, and executing with pace and purpose. You’ll understand B2B marketing. But you’ll yearn to emulate the creativity and demand-led focus of the top B2C/SaaS companies, in an effort to drive action amongst potential clients and candidates.

Quite simply, you’ll turn your research into highly-consumable content and insights. And have a team alongside you who'll help to repurpose and amplify your work, every step of the way. 

- Working closely with the Sales & Marketing team, you’ll help to deliver our content strategy, predominantly producing written content around subjects relating to our key target industries.

- This will include the creation of top-of-funnel content for our ecosystem such as guides/whitepapers, blogs, social content, infographics, case studies, interviews etc. You may also be required to produce Outreach messaging for sales campaigns.

- You'll utilise your understanding of basic SEO, content categorisation and structure and provide input into distribution and measurement. You'll adhere to editorial governance so content is consistent with our brand voice, style and tone.

- Provide social media copy/ideas, working closely alongside the team to create standout content while ensuring clear channel identity and consistency.

- You’ll create effective and measurable content vehicles and journeys. You’ll ideally have used some of the most common web publishing and email marketing tools (Wordpress, Mailchimp, HubSpot or equivalent). As we go deeper into personalising our comms, we’ll be looking for your ideas on developing messaging and content to specific target industries and stakeholders.

- Maintain a ‘curious’ mindset. You’ll receive support and direction but be self-sufficient in locating the most relevant content watering holes. You’ll keep your own tabs on trends and audience sentiment with the aim of creating content that educates and resonates.

- Work closely alongside our People & Culture and Client Services teams to support internal communications, recruitment and initiatives.

- You’ll have the opportunity to grow within the role. Want to experiment with a new content format or channel?  The scope of this position doesn’t have to be limited to written content and research. You’ll have the freedom and space to explore and introduce new ideas.


What we need:

This role is ideal for someone who wants to take their passion for research and copywriting to the next level. Essentially, you’ll blend your flair for storytelling with a fascination for building engagement. Your work will live and breathe on multiple platforms and you’ll have access to a team who’ll help you repurpose your content and comms so that they achieve maximum impact.


- You'll have produced a combination of guides/whitepapers, blogs, articles, guides, social media posts, press releases, interviews and email campaigns, Sales outreach copy experience is a plus point.

- You'll be self-motivated and comfortable with autonomy. This role will require you to take a research/writing brief and run with it.

- You'll be eager to go on a journey with marketing automation and seek to understand how we can be most effective with our campaign architecture.

- You'll love data and have an eye for analytics, especially an ability to comprehend what the numbers tell us and how we can improve.

- You'll possess an editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create it.

- You'll be outcome-focussed. You want to see the end result of your work and celebrate its success. You’ll iterate and refine if performance is not as anticipated and you’ll feedback to others where necessary.

- You don’t have to be the complete package but in keeping with our values, you must have the desire to ‘Learn to Win’. We're on this journey together. 

Experience within a similar role:

- Minimum 1-2 years’ of experience in copywriting/editorial, either freelance, agency or for an SME but flexibility will be given. 

- Experience of working in a fast-paced environment where speed, quality and project management is a key focus. 

- Previous B2B marketing experience is desirable but not essential. An adaptable mindset is the key consideration.

- CRM and marketing automation experience is desirable, preferably with HubSpot. Must be willing to seek to understand how our campaign architecture influences the content we create. Full system training will be provided..

- Degree educated or equivalent is a consideration but not essential. What’s crucial is excellent copywriting, comprehension, understanding and reasoning skills. We can teach you about our business and its systems, and provide you with background and context. But you must be a talented and versatile researcher/copywriter with an appetite to learn and drive results.
